Speaker: Shlomo Schwartzberg

It's just a few days in the life of Benny Furman (played by co-writer/director Uri Zohar), a womanizing basketball coach who is frantically trying - and failing - to juggle his family commitments, his mistresses' demands, his job, his business schemes and the vagaries of life in general. As he runs around the city, encountering various obstacles along the way, an incisive portrait of 1970s Tel Aviv cosmopolitan life is revealed. Shot in crisp black and white, Big Eyes is an Israeli film classic that is sure to enthral and amuse.
